FXTS: Internal License Issue

FXTS: Internal License Issue

Attention FXCM Trading Station User,

A problematic error internal to FXTS has been noted by several users of CDX Tools that randomly causes indicators to reset their License Validation Account to a blank field. When this happens, the user will receive an Invalid License error because the module is submitting a blank or default license number. The reason for this error originates from the FXTS internal defaults saved inside any previously built Layout file and may persist for any new or existing users that install pre-built CDX layouts. (This should not effect any local user-built layouts)

Solution The
  1. The user must simply open each Properties dialogue and re-select their Validation Account from the drop-down menu and choose Apply/Ok.
  2. When complete, be sure to save your changes. We recommend saving to a different file name in the case of future updates that may overwrite your existing files. Layouts --> Save Layout As

Note:

  1. Please remember all FXTS products are currently licensed to your Validation Account(s) regardless of which computers they are running on. We provide (2) available Validation Account licenses with every product purchase.
  2. Community Forum:
If you have questions or concerns regarding the platforms and/or tools you are using, please consider posting to our new Community Forum so that other users may benefit from the discussions and possibly provide assistance as well.

Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing one’s financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
